Every year our Top 50 Small Business Leaders Report celebrates the achievements and innovation of pioneers in the small-business sector. In the last couple of years we can add a huge dose of resilience into the recipe that makes a leader. Hot on the heels of the pandemic and natural disasters – both fires and floods – SMEs are having to cope with supply chain issues and rising inflation. So, those who have made the Top 50, alongside all their peers, deserve extra acclaim for what they have accomplished.

Founded in 2014, our business has in the past year reached the milestone of working with over 100 businesses and brands, with a combined annual turnover in excess of $25 billion. SMART IN PLANNING has also expanded overseas through several of our channels.

Through careful planning at the source, more informed decisions are made, with a dual benefit to sustainability: at the start of the Retail cycle, there are less wasted resources making goods that will not sell; at the end of the Retail cycle, there less markdowns and write offs are needed, and ultimately less waste goes to landfill.
